That is my question. lol

So i really do have alot to say! Or write, may it be. I have lots of things I want to blog about...some that matter, and some that i just wanna put out there. Yet, I think blogging is just too chaotic for me. I'm way to spastic in my thoughts and too generous in my use of ellipsis's and generally uneducated to make sense on here.
That said my blog has become a journal about my kids...YUCK! Who really cares that Chloe cut her first tooth FINALLY...or Jayla keeps taking her diaper off and playing in her ...LETS CHANGE THE SUBJECT!

Some of the things i would blog about... if i cared enough about this blog, would probably be:

I'm one of those gals who yard sales. I love thrift stores and hand-me-downs... i love when you see a pile of stuff on the road that says "free"! That's just me. I think i get it from both of my parents sides. My moms dad literally collects "some days"... you know...someday ill fix it...someday ill paint it...someday ill put a new engine in it. And He does get to alot of them. Then their is my dads dad... he is a yard sale EXPERT! If you need it...HE WILL FIND IT! He can barder with the best of them...and he always finds the best "steals" ! Well the point of my story is I would usually rather buying used than new! I love to clean up, do up, fix up, gussy up, mend, modernize, recondition, sand and repaint,rejuvenate, remodel, renew, renovate, repair, restore, spruce up and redecorate!!! ha ha. But Jordan, my sweet hubby, bartered at a furniture going out of business sale... and bought me a NEW TABLE! $160.00...Brand new...In the box! And after he hammered, screwed, and screamed for a couple hours.... we got this:

For those of you who don't know...My hubby loves soccer! (He would probably marry it if i didn't snatch him up first! lol.) He loves it so much he coaches for our local AYSO. He is such an awesome coach! This is his 2nd year coaching here and they have made it all the way to FINALS both times! Well enough about that...because the point is IT IS OVER!!! Yay! I mean im happy he can share his talents and all but I want my husband back!!! Sometimes i feel like soccer is EVIL! I wish I could say I too love spending every Saturday running up and down a sideline screaming...but I CAN'T. And I'm ready to have my husband to help me put kids to bed at night, and to make me breakfast Saturday mornings!lol(There is a little wishful thinking!)

My problem with blogging...

Im not sure why I cant keep up with this thing! I love reading everyone elses blogs! I think for me to want to read a blog it needs First- Lots of pictures and Second-to be updated often!!!

What is my problem then? Im definitely not short on time, words, or pictures!
I think my problem is unloading my camera onto the computer! Its is so much work! The memory on my card is too high for my laptop too read without the whole big camera plugged in! And i cant just unload without sorting and filing all the pictures into their organized files!!!! haha.

In spite of no updates...lots has happened! Christmas was so much fun! We had EVERYONE over to our house for a brunch! YUM yum! Jayla and Chloe got a table for their room...My sister and i spent time sanding it and repainting it pretty white! Which was a flop!!! Within a few days it had crayon all over it. LEAVE IT TO JAYLA! Thats my girl!

Im pretty sure I received the best present of all! The BIGGEST & BADDEST Nikon EVER!!
And everything else to "dive in to the deep end" of photography! I have the best husband who is so supportive of my many hobbies! This new camera is Crazy Amazing though!

Also an update on the girls:
Jayla is 20 months
she is saying sentences so good now.
my favorite is... "baby signing time please mommy?" Its her favorite movie.
She is so so polite.
She loves changing diapers with mommy and throwing trash away for everyone.

Chloe is 7 months
she is saying "ma-ma"
she is sitting up and trying to pull herself up,to stand.
she loves loves loves food! she would eat all day if i let her.
and she also loves her big sister!!

I have a new love!!! And it was such a bargin too. $100 coat for less than $40! You just cant beat that. Thanks to a patient husband who drove me to the store twice to visit and try it on... and to Dru for the coupon...and to the store, for a last minute markdown on an already once marked down coat!!

Big Girl!

This was Jayla only a couple days old...Already guarding it with her life.

Last Sunday night we couldn't find the Binky when it was time for bed so little Miss Jayla was left to fall asleep without it. Poor girl cried for an hour before passing out. The next morning she asked for it all morning but it must have fallen out at one of our gas stops on the way back from Az. Because it was nowhere to be found. (Keep in mind her Binky's have been discontinued so if we ever needed more you have to search eBay and they are selling for $22 for a pack of only 2!) That's just crazy so we decided she needs to "grow up"... or out of a pacifier at least. lol

So the one remaining Binky i handed to her and asked to toss it in the trash and she did!!! We said our goodbyes to it and i suck it back out so if she searched for it it would be there! (and because i was thinking that was too easy and planning on a freak out later) Well, its been a whole week without it! yay! no more Binky at naps or at night! She isn't even asking for it anymore. Im really shocked it worked. My mom told me it would but i waited too long to try it. Jayla has been connected to them since she was only a day old! Literally! My momma went to the store and bought one of each kind and once she found her favorite... she never slept without it! Well Bye bye Binky. And I HOPE NEVER SEE YOU AGAIN! :)

New Nativity

Grandma Dru got the girls a "Little people" nativity set. It is so adorable. It took way too long to get the thing out of the box,but Jayla loves it!!! I thought it was so sweet how we could ask her "where is baby Jesus?"...and frantically she would search and bring him to us. Its those moments that melt my heart and only for a split second make me want another baby. then reality set in. jayla flung Jesus across the room with a devious cackle and yelling "boom Jesus!" Oh yikes. i picked him up and showed her how to rock him and be sweet... that didn't last long though! All night she kept huking him across the room saying BOOM JESUS. Dru said she must have some Evangelist in her! Hahahah!! She is such a crack up.

Even though my blogging has been dead... The Hall family is still very much alive. lol We have been very busy the last few months and in the hustle and bustle of everyday life this blog gets neglected. At the end of the day i am lucky to have have had the time to shampoo AND condition in the same shower...so you can see how blogging has gotten away from me.

I thought i would play catch up though and fill everyone in on Summer 2009!

Wow... I cant believe she is a big sister! A good one too...she brings me the Binky whenever Chloe cries...and you have to watch her close because she loves to share her food and juice with Chloe!

Jaylas will be 1 at the end of this month and it seems the time has come to say bye bye to her bottles forever! We are weening her off them for good. She is using sippy cups and big girl cups now but she still hasn't mastered the straw. Its funny to see her try though! Well, only a couple of weeks and I will be putting the bottles away...for another month or two. Then we will be giving them to the new baby. I figure if we do it now then Jayla wont miss them. She is also giving up formula this month and we are switching to whole milk. ...And after she gets used to those changes ... we are going to hide all her Binkys! lolThats alot of change. Its gonna be a hard couple of weeks for this girl. Its time though.

My mom and dad always got us an Easter dress! My momma was so good at Holiday traditions. Ill never forget them and I hope to pass them down to my girls! So here is Jayla's first Easter dress! She was such a doll in it!

PS that boo boo on her forehead was her Easter goose egg! lol. She decided to pull down the candy dish on her head the day before. I thought about editing it out but where is the story in that? She is accident prone like her momma. For Christmas she had a cut under her nose from falling and now this! Guess we will see what happens right before those 1st Bday shots. :) Poor girl!

That clever Easter Bunny knew right where to find him though!!! After searching and searching Mat and Jayla found there baskets! Mat was definitely on a sugar rush all day...and Jayla was just happy with the bright plastic eggs! She was determined to shove the entire egg in her mouth! too cute! It was such a great day!

This Easter I decided to make Some little nest cupcakes with toasted coconut and malt eggs! Yum Yum! And with the extra batter I made Jordan a Chocolate Coconut Cream Cake! The best part was how great toasting the coconut makes your home smell. and eating all the goodies!!! :)

A few Saturdays ago my dad came down with my sister to visit the beach...and Jayla of course! It was such a pretty day. Grandpa and Jayla had a few good walks and Brionne worked on her tan! My favorite part was all the vendors on the walking trail. There are some interesting people out there! lol. Jayla loved the sand... So much in fact... she ate at least a cup of it. and when that stoped being fun... she decide to rub it in her eye. Yikes!!!

Home sweet home!

In less than a week we will finally be HOME OWNERS! No renting...mo more not knowing were we will be when the lease runs out... no more people living under us or on top of us...and definitely no more hiking up a set of stairs to get to our front door! Let me tell you... with Jayla, a purse, a diaper bag and a baby in the belly, climbing these stairs is such a pain! literally!

I cant wait to finally be able to paint and decorate our new place! Its 3 bedroom 2.5 bath. It has a 2 car garage and even a fruit tree in the back yard. My favorite parts are the separate shower and tub...the two walk in closets in the master bedroom and ill have my own scrapbook room! Yay.

My new calling

I remember sitting in church our first Sunday in this new ward thinking... "please let me be called in Young Women's!"

...and only a few weeks had passed before I was called into our bishops office and received the calling of Primary Secretary. After a brief discussion with the previous secretary, I felt like I was thrown into a pool..sink or swim, with no idea what I was doing. Secretary sounds easy...but its not just taking rolls and handing out next weeks talks! It was serious business. lol And i was sure they needed someone better qualified for the job.

Finally when I memorized almost every child's name, understood exactly what was needed every week, organized the roles, and worked so hard on binders for every teacher, and finally felt confident in my calling.... I was released and given another calling. Now I am Mi maid/ Laurel advisor! After falling back in love with primary... I am now leaving it to teach YW.

So the morel of this story must be that our prayers are answered in the Lords time! and... as soon as we feel "safe" in our calling... we get switched! Yikes, now I just know when my nerves finally calm and I no longer am terrified to teach these sweet yw...ill be released! That's just how it works I guess. I'm excited for my first Young Women's calling though and Ill remember not to get to comfortable! And ill definitely miss all my Primary kids!

Wow...6 months Pregnant

25 weeks down... 15 to go. Although, I wouldn't be to disappointed if this little girl would come a week or two early! I am definitely passed the point of any restful sleep... we finally have Jayla sleeping through the night ...12 hrs!... of mostly uninterrupted sleep. No more night feedings! and it seems like there is no point. I am no longer able to sleep well! (in any position)...and I'm going pee about 4 times a night! lol. Its funny how as soon as Jayla sleeps good...I cant! Guess I better just get used to it. New babies don't give you much sleep either!

We went to another Dr appointment and made sure it was a girl one last time! Sure enough... she is. No surprise extra parts were there! Good thing! and she is almost 14 inches long! The tech says she looks PERFECT! From past experience... I already know i make PERFECT kids! lol and apparently she is about the size of an eggplant?!?

Lets see...Jayla is trying to walk. emphasis on TRYING. it is so silly. She is the funniest lil bean ever! not a day goes by that she doesn't do something that gets me laughing.

I can feel the new baby move. I decided on a name...Jordan thinks he is going to change my mind before June. Think again...I absolutely love it. So in case it doesn't work out i wont announce it yet but i think its the one!

We are looking to buy our first house...SOON!

My Primary calling is secretary...has been for a few months but the new year got me in major motivation mode and i have created new binders for all the teachers! My good friend Elise helped me with a lot of ideas, as well as some great web sites. I am officially ready and organized for 2009 Primary!

I also asked our ward if they had a "mom & me" group... they said SURE YOU BE IN CHARGE OF IT.lol that wasn't exactly what i was thinking but im still glad we are gonna do something. So seems i now have another thing to be responsible for...great?!? so any of your ideas in this subject would help :)

Jordan just finished coaching one soccer team... and is on to another "all star" team. im not quite sure what that means...it interprets in my head as another 3 days a week i dont see him! l0l. He loves it though...and he is really sweet with all the kids.

wow, that was a lot to catch up on...well we are off to Denny's for free "grand slams", and then Jayla gets some shots. Yay for Pancakes!

I'm so excited! Jordan is happy too.... Jordan says "at least we don't have to buy anything!" I know he wants a boy...but I just love that ill have two little girls! YaY! I wanted to post a pic of her but seems our scanner is on the fritz! She is beautiful. We saw her sucking her thumb! So sweet! Tiny little fists and feet! We are so ecstatic! Jayla is gonna have a little sister!

.....I only have 6 months left! Seems our new addition is about the size of a Peach! Crazy! The morning sickness is fading ..not at all fast enough though....and I'm only extremely tired half of the day! (The half I'm chasing Jayla around.) I broke out the maternity clothes on Friday and laughed at my self for thinking..."it seems like only yesterday i packed these up!".... not yesterday.... but CLOSE! We will hopefully find out the sex of this little baby in 3 weeks so cast your vote on which you think it is! Hope everyone has a Merry Christmas and we will be posting some funny Christmas stories soon im sure! We are gathering at my moms in Vegas, and two Aunts and there families will be there also, from Utah! When you gather us all together you are guaranteed some "Golden Posting Material!" Bread bread bread

After reading a post my Aunt wrote on buying and using her bread-maker... I though I would dig mine out of storage and try mine too! So I got on here and read all about how to get the perfect loaf and got all excited remembering my moms bread maker...and coming home to fresh bread after church! OMG my mouth was watering... I did everything exactly how it said.... and waited what seamed like eternity...3 whole hours for one loaf?!? but I knew it was going to be worth it! But now that my bread is made... I remembered my favorite part of fresh homemade bread... Homemade STRAWBERRY JAM!!! so sad! I guess butter is OK... but my moms strawberry jam was the BEST PART. It just isn't the same with out it! I'm sure Jordan will still be surprised when he comes home though... now i just need to clean up this kitchen...and i guess ill have to embark on making my own jam next time!

Dr. Apointment for Jayla...

Jayla went to the Dr. yesterday and received 6 shots! Yikes! She was so Brave she barely even cried. Our Dr. was so impressed how she sat up for him all by herself. Then when she did cry, she said Mamamamama! His eyes lit up and he said..."she said mama"...i was like ya...i heard it. she does that. Then he proceeded to tell me that since she is learning so fast and is so far along.... maybe they had the wrong due date for her...and instead of it looking like she was a week early...she was really 3 weeks late and she is older than we think she is. My Dr. is cooky cuz that seems impossible. He wouldn't just admit our Jayla is a Genius. Ha ha. I think she is at least! Any baby that takes her diaper off herself and drags it into the cat litter box must be SMART. right?!? : )

Secret Menus...

So Ive always known about "Secret Menus." especially at my two favorite places...... In-n-Out and Jamba Juice! But talking with a few people recently i learned a lot of people don't! i guess you have to be some DIE HARD FAN?!? lol. not really but i thought ide post a few of these because i absolutely love them!

first ill do In-n-Outs Secret... not so secret menu

a 2×4 is a burger with two beef patties and four slices of cheese. You can also order a “3×3" a “4×2″ or any other meat/cheese combo your little heart desires. But 4 patties is the most they are supposed to do.

then there is "Animal Style"... its mustard-cooked beef patty, additional pickles, extra secret sauce with grilled onions.

ps...the secret sauce is mayo relish and catchup whipped together.

"The Flying Dutchman"... 2 beef patties, 2 slices of cheese. That’s it. No lettuce. No onions. No bun. No nuthin’. This is like the Atkins Diet burger

"Grilled cheeese"... defiantly a kid pleaser.....its a cheese burger without the burger...lettuce tomato and all!

"Protein Style” Burger.....any burger you want with no bun but wrapped in lettuce.

"Veggi Burger"or "Wish Burger"....Hamburger with no burger and double tomatoes.

"Whole grilled onion"... they just stick the slice on the grill for a bit.

you can also say things like "Toast"...it tells them to cook ur bun longer

....and Light Or Well fries! they will brown them longer or shorter for ya!

also the only adds pickles to a burger WHEN U ASK! when they say Everything it doesnt include pickles.

"Animal Style Fries"...this is so good. its French fries with secret sauce, grilled chopped onions and cheese on top.Wow

and then there is the milk shake craze...

"root beer float"......they make it with vanilla milk shake and root beer, they even give you a spoon (how nice!)

i have heard they will make you a float with any soda if you just ask!

THEY WILL ALSO MIX HALF AND HALF SHAKES LIKE STRAWBERRY AND VANILLA OR CHOCOLATE AND STRAWBERRY OR EVEN ALL THREE...FOR THE SAME COST! SWEET!

-well, that's all that i know of. And most employees know these simple ones. i have heard rumors of others but you don't wanna order and the cashier look at you like you are crazy.... so you are safe with this menu!

We have a little surprise..... actually it came as a BIG SURPRISE to me! We are officially
expecting...AGAIN! Although we took more than a few at home pregnancy tests( ...its hard to believe just one!) We needed to hear the results from a Dr........ at least Jordan did! He refused to believe the 4 pee sticks were correct... and needed scientific proof! lol.
Well all those little pink plus signs were right! and good thing at 15 Dollars a go!
guess we already have a bit invested in this little bean!
We went to the Dr. again Monday and had our first ultrasound....
All is well he says. There is only one! That was probably the best news Jordan got all month!!!
And its due June 27th.... right around ours. Jordan and I both share June 23 as our day of birth!
and its little heart was beating Strong! Well there's not much more you can u ask for!

Almost 2 months down.... 7 more to go!

I'm boycotting idiots!

Palm Springs is known for its high population of "alternative lifestyles."
But, marriage between a man and woman has prevailed again! Ever since Proposition 8 eliminated the right for same sex couples to marry... Palm Springs has "lost it!" There has been marches, and rallies, and last Sunday there was a gathering of protesters outside our church even! They held signs and yelled!? One sign even said SHAME! Shame? Shame on us? Interesting point of view buddy. Well, that isn't even the crazy part..... now lists of local businesses with LDS owners have been distributed to these ignorant people, and they are boycotting. Everywhere you turn you hear something about boycotting your local businesses for "the cause." What cause? They already lost! YaY... lets boycott businesses in our already struggling economy to make a point that gays business matters, when they already lost the fight?!? ummmmmm.... that's SMART!
There is even black list web-sites of who contributed funds to Protect Marriage! The sites say their business name and their position. This has gone to far! what will be next? The proposition alone was outrageous.... two men recognized as husband and wife! Are you kidding me. Whats next... three people...a man and his goat... a rock as your life long partner?
I can not imagine Jayla going to school and learning that a Princess can marry a Princess. What kind of fairy tale would that be? All in all.... I just want to say I voted and stood up for what I believe in and hope you did too. And If it were the other way around ..... how many LDS people would you see holding signs in front of gay bars, or boycotting their stores? Not many... if any!

Boycotting is so QUEER ! lol.

Supermaning off the bed?!?

So, Jordan was watching Jayla! (or so he says. I think it was more of watching the Wii!) Grandpa Hall&Jayla
When i hear this ThUd... and he comes rushing out with Jayla in his arms. Well she had.... rolled off the bed.
Sad, but it was fine. She was better in a minute and hopefully no permanent brain damage! :)

The Funny part of this story is how he tells it! Jordan tried to convince me he had his eye on her the whole

time. And the split second he turned his head... she got UP?!? and WALKED?!? off the side...with her arms out... more of a SUPERMAN dive?!? He Cracks me up... i cant believe he can take something like our daughter rolling off the bed...rather sad incident ....into an elaborate story that definitely sent the whole room into laughter!
gotta LOVE him!

Who is this guy?

Down at the beach we were "graced with the presence," of some family of family of family?
and it just so happened i got cornered in a room with a guy we will call : "GRUMPY" for the sake of the story!

well i was so tired of entertaining and small talking when i was sup post to be "Relaxing" and ....it was all i could do to just smile and "hide out"!
( YOU KNOW YOU HAVE HAD THOSE DAYS...when u just wanna tell everyone to SHHHHhhhhhhh!)
when our company...Grumpy, actually sat me down to tell me how he thought it was wrong Jaylas ears are pierced.
He judging said, "i cant believe u would pierce your child's ears. If God wanted us to have holes in our ears we would have been born that way!"
I was just floored!
Was he serious?
Who is this man!?!
It took only half a second before i returned with.... "well sir, i see you have clothes on, we were born naked... explain that!"
He just thought i was the rudest thing!
He got up and just walked off!
I was actually half kidding anyways. i was trying to make light of his RUDENESS.

We were in the Bead Store when Jayla started to get really grumpy. The Binky just wasn't doing it for her so i stuck my finger in her mouth!....... and she bit me!
It came to me so fast!....OOoouuch!
A TooTH!
Jayla has a tooth.
i felt around and sure enough... all that crying, drooling, and horrible sleeping for the past week was a tooth coming! 41/2 months and there it is!
what will be next? walking?
